Promotional poster for Bucknell University’s Annual Student Art Exhibition
Project Type: Academic (Individual)
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Masking Tape
PROCESS
After creating several thumbnail sketches, I decided to pursue an idea where the headline of the poster was made out of blue painter’s tape. To do so, I physically adhered black masking tape to a blank poster, photographed the lettering I had created, and used Photoshop to make the tape blue. To reflect Bucknell’s school colors (orange and blue), I filled the background with orange paint splatters in Illustrator before adding informational text.
